Robert Liguori, DC

Dr. Rob Liguori grew up in Auburn, Maine, and went to undergraduate at the University of Southern Maine. Healthcare has always been an interest of his, and he majored in biology, graduating with his bachelor’s degree in 2006. Dr. Liguori explored many healthcare options after college and ultimately landed on chiropractic care because he loves the philosophy of helping to heal injuries and improve health through natural means. Along with school, Dr. Liguori also spent nine years in the Maine Army National Guard, serving as a medic. His experiences through the military exposed him to many different fields of healthcare, which helped him decide the path that he would like to go.

Dr. Liguori went on to chiropractic school at New York Chiropractic College, where he also attained his master’s degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition along with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Nutrition is a huge interest, and he enjoys counseling patients nutritionally for a variety of conditions, such as digestive issues, autoimmune diseases, and cardiovascular issues. Dr. Liguori also incorporates exercise rehab into his treatments to go along with his adjusting and soft tissue skills. Dr. Liguori strives to be as well-rounded as he can be in order to enhance patient treatment. He believes that a complete treatment must address dysfunction of the joints, muscle and connective tissue, nervous system, altered movement patterns, and overall health and nutrition.

In his spare time, Dr. Liguori loves to do things outside. He enjoys hiking, cycling, and camping in the Maine and New Hampshire area. When not outside, Dr. Liguori loves to paint and enjoys exploring Portland’s food scene. Portland is Dr. Liguori’s favorite city, and he is very happy living in the area with his wife, Jen, and their dog, Tucker.
